Andrea Navedo

Andrea Navedo is an American actor and author. Her career began in soap operas One Life to Live, Guiding Light. Later she was in a number of roles supporting the primetime television. Andrea Navedo was born 10 October 1977, in The Bronx New York United States. Navedo started her acting career on daytime soap operas. She played Linda Soto, the ABC soap One Life to Live from 1995 through 1998. The role was a part of Guiding Light, a CBS soap opera on CBS between 1999 and 2000, as Theresa Sandoval. She began her career on film with a small part in Girl 6 (1996), later she appeared in the episodes New York Undercover (1997) and The District. Navedo was on Double Take, an action-comedy film in 2001. The action drama Washington Heights was released the year after. From 2001 until 2004 Navedo was a frequent character in the NBC Crime series Law & Order as Detective Ana Cordova. Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages was the next episode, as did Blue Bloods. Navedo appeared in a number of movies including El Cantante (The Cantante) as well as Remember Me. Navedo was also a recurring characters for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2011-2013) as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy. Superfast! is a film where Navedo was the lead. The Fast and the Furious films were parodied in the 2015 movie. Navedo started her acting career on daytime soaps. In 1995 through 1997 Navedo played Linda Soto in ABC's One Life to Live. In 1999 she joined the crew of the CBS soap opera Guiding Light as Theresa Sandoval. Her first film appearance was in the role of a minor character Girl 6 (1996). She then guest-starred on the episodes New York Undercover, The District and The District. Navedo was the lead in Double Take, an action-comedy film released in 2001.
